Steven Johnson, M.D./ Family Medicine/ Pediatrics

Steven Johnson, originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin, earned his baccalaureate at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1976. He then earned his doctorate at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, graduating in 1981. While attending medical school, Dr. Johnson was selected for membership to the medical school honors society Alpha Omega Alpha. He particularly enjoyed the variety of clinical rotations, preparing him for a career in Family Practice<./p>

Dr. Johnson completed his residency in Family Practice through the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1984 at St. Michael's Hospital in Milwaukee. He then moved to the Sauk Prairie area, joining Prairie Clinic later that year. "The natural beauty of the area and the thriving small town clinic and hospital" appealed to him. He has enjoyed being a partner in Prairie Clinic for over twenty years, and has served as clinic president for eight of these years.

Dr. Johnson enjoys sports (golf, skiing, basketball, biking, hiking, hunting, Badger basketball and football), traveling, reading and working around the house. He greatly enjoys his family time, which he makes his first priority.
